I am not feeling at all well, this morning. That may be due to staying up late to finish reading James Hetley’s new book (Signatures – very good!) and then setting the alarm clock for 5:30 a.m. to turn off the crock pot (bottom arm beef roast). Samantha woke me at 7:30, when I did finally put the roast into the refrigerator.
Yesterday, Al brought home three oatmeal & M&M cookies from the bakery—which I usually tolerate. Evidence indicates that such was not the case, this time. And I don’t think it was that I ate all three of them over a twelve-hour time period. Today, my breathing is labored, as is my digestive system, and I am quite dizzy. Feels like there’s a too-tight swimming cap on the right side of my head.
Bakers get new suppliers. Suppliers change means and methods. Mills change procedures and products. I must remember not to eat cookies. And I should also remember that I am allergic to oats, even if they do not contain gluten. (I just don’t want to remember that. I like oatmeal!)
