On Thursday, I presented a post featuring Hoarfrost on my Stray Coffee Breaks blog.

An old outbuilding just off the main street in the town where our family lived. I expect it housed a wagon, or a cart, and a horse or two, when it was first built.

The Scampers are still asleep in their kennels. No one else is awake, yet. Soft hum and light breeze from the air cleaner make for a nice white noise.
Recovering from the chest cold that began Christmas Eve, my FBG is showing signs of improvement. Finally. Eating beef liver to help with Vitamin D level. For second supper, last night, I enjoyed a cup of GF wild rice & chicken soup; added slices of andouille sausage.
Time to relax, now, and nurture the creative self, again. The plan is to get back into the routine of structuring my time to facilitate not just writing and reading, but also Artist Dates and regular exercise sessions.
Since the diabetes diagnosis in December 2016, I’ve pretty much been concentrating on dietary changes and developing new habits. I feel as though the time is ripe for renewed growth in the rest of life. I have greatly enjoyed my time spent talking with the bereavement counselors, but I look forward to a more active process as I move more deliberately into creative growth throughout my life.
