Lines can protect, define, lock in or out…circumscribe an environment or a world. In the spring, lines often are not camouflaged by new growth or distorted by snow.

I downloaded pages from the New York Times “Cooking” section on how to cook new-to-me protein that would not run afoul of my low-carb/high protein diabetic diet guidelines: how to cook beef tenderloin and the various ways of preparing salmon fillets, including buying guidelines. Frequent sales on salmon at both of the groceries where we shop.
Time to relax, now, and nurture the creative self, again. The plan is to get back into the routine of structuring my time to facilitate not just writing and reading, but also Artist Dates and regular exercise sessions.
Since the diabetes diagnosis in December 2016, I’ve pretty much been concentrating on dietary changes and developing new habits. I feel as though the time is ripe for renewed growth in the rest of life. I have greatly enjoyed my time spent talking with the bereavement counselors, but I look forward to a more active process as I move more deliberately into creative growth throughout my life.
